The ceramic cartridge is high-density. The filter retains potentially suspended matter, such as rust, salmonella, and Escherichia coli, which may be present in drinking water pipes. It works on the principle of an antibacterial barrier . Rainwater can also be filtered. See analysis chart .
The high-density ceramic, 1 cm thick with a porosity of 0.2 microns, guarantees effective water filtration . The water quality is therefore exceptional.
Cleaning and maintenance: It is recommended to clean the ceramic once a month, without removing it from its mounting base, using white vinegar and tap water. Be careful not to drop it in your sink .
First use of the ceramic: Place the ceramic in the container with the central hole drilled in it, ensuring the inner seal of the ceramic is positioned inside the container. Screw the butterfly nut onto the ceramic, without forcing it, and then rinse under clean tap water.
The Eva water fountain's filtration system will eliminate the need for bottled water . That means less plastic for the planet.
