Eva Fountain - How to clean and maintain the mineral basket

The mineral basket should be cleaned when a green fuzz appears on the top (caused by excessive exposure to light from the fountain).

For fountains with a magnetic system, you need to open the basket and remove the white magnetic disc.

Next, boil water with a tablespoon of coarse sea salt

Bring to a boil. Turn off the heat.

Place the minerals in boiling salt water

Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes

Then rub the minerals under running tap water.

Rinse the basket and minerals under running tap water

If you have a magnetic system, you need to replace the white disc inside the bin.

Put the basket back in the fountain
